The human brain is like a mansion that started as a cottage. Successive generations have built their additions on top of the old structure. The new parts have all the wonderful new technology, but the plumbing and air conditioning, all of the basic running of the house, still go through the old cottage.

A while ago, I speculated that a hypnosis recording could be used to make it easier to kick the porn habit. People use hypnosis to quit smoking all the time, right?
I decided to test the hypothesis. The problem is that I'm not addicted to porn and I couldn't find a recording anyway.
However, I am a procrastinator and I was able to find a hypnosis recording to help me "get it done".

". . . I loved the high of infatuation in my youth, and so I made a habit of it. By 'habit', I mean exactly the same thing that any heroin addict means when he speaks of his habit: a mild word for an unmanageable compulsion. I sought passion everywhere. I freebased it. I became the kind of girl about whom Grace Paley was surely thinking when she described a character who always needed a man in her life, even when it might have appeared that she already had one.

This morning I got a PIDA, a genuine, sincere, straight from the heart PIDA. It was accompanied by a happy, gentle smile. Now I know what heaven feels like. Thank you so much, Marnia and everybody.

It's pretty easy to tell what a man feels about you in bed. Recent research confirms what most women already knew: when a man is physically aroused, he's mentally aroused as well. What may not be as obvious for men is that when a woman is physically aroused she may or may not be ready to take the erotic plunge. As some men have found to their peril, some women need more than physical stimulation.

Prof Lajeunesse said pornography did not have a negative effect on men's sexuality.

The term "Goddess" should be said with a smile. Some men would like a Goddess in their life: someone to worship, someone who will lead them, someone to shower gifts on and make sacrifices for. I'm sure some women would love that role.
Others would despise it.
Others want to be seen for who they are, warts and all. They don't want to have the responsibility of always looking like a Goddess or controlling the relationship. They want to be able to let their hair down and just be themselves.

Others may be able to interpret the results below better than I, but this research seems to indicate that meditation can also be linked to a dopamine surge:
