For the women

I didn't know where else to post it but feel free to movie it if you choose Marnia, but perhaps this also has to do with addiction. I came across this information and just had to share it.

Thanks Bamazi

for looking after us. This was a new one on me, and I'm glad to have the information.

One of my heroines, Dr. Alice Bunker Stockham, used to crusade against corsets (her book on controlled intercourse came out a century ago: http://www.reuniting.info/karezza_stockham), and I'm sure she would be very pleased to see that this information is here. Smiling

I don't want to get you too excited, but I've just unfastened my bra.... *giggle*

good for you!

Smiling I'm glad to see this too, seems like the age that girls use bras of some form is getting younger and younger which is really setting up for a health crisis. I'm going to spread this information as far and wide as I can and I hope you do to.

Uhhh . . . I've never worn a bra. Thanks for looking out for my sistas tho!

I read in

one article how once women took off their bras for some time the circulation improved and they were even able to sense exactly when their time of the month would be based on how they were swelling. Is this part of how you have come to know yours ? I'll try to find the link again.

here it is, see case history 1 Jane from Michigan

I can usually tell when I

I can usually tell when I have ovulated because my breasts get tender afterwards, in the second half of my cycle. Since I have never worn a bra, I can't testify to how it might change perceptions of fertility or tenderness. Breast tenderness is just one of many signs that lead me to know where I am in my cycle. I've mentioned the rest in my post on partnership birth control. Of course, looking at my cervix with a speculum is one sure way to track changes, tho not practical for a daily tune-in, as it takes a little time. Sure is interesting though. I can feel with my finger how the opening to the cervix (the os) changes in size depending on where I am in my cycle. Also the cervix goes higher and lower in the vaginal canal at different times of the month, and gets harder or softer too. The cervix is very communicative!

how did you

come to never wear a bra ? Was it a health choice or just something you kept doing since you were younger on the ranch ?

I have doubts about whether

I have doubts about whether bra's have any role in causing breast cancer. Yes; if the bra is exceptionally tight on the breasts this is likely to impact on lymphatic flow but please bare in mind that the lymph-system is important in EVERY part of our body. Toxin build-up and flushing of lymph glands affects our buttocks (we sit down for long periods) and our feet AS (we stand too) but yet we don't get butt cancer or feet cancer. Also, breathing exercises and daily yogic posturing whilst naked (for an hour) can undo and reverse any negative effects of wearing overly tight clothing.

I saw some research about links to breast-feeding and breast cancer; and that women who breast-fed for 12 months or more had a notably lower rate of cancer in that area than those who either didn't breast feed or fed for less than 12 months. Even in this part of research...its not conclusive. I think diet also has a role to play in breast cancer; as milk-production in the alveoli of the breast-tissue is influenced by the toxin content of the body.
