virtual Karezza?

Hey, Marnia and company,
Here's my question..since we know that science supports the notion that your brain responds pretty much the same way neurochemically to either a real or imagined event, I am wondering if reading the material on the site could be impacting my neurochemistry? I ask this because I find that after spending some time reading articles, forums, etc, I feel an incredible sense of comfort, satisfaction and wellbeing.
Porn impacts us neurochemically re: dopamine levels, and we know that dopamine can be triggered by any addictive behavior-- do you think it possible that "virtual Karezza"--reading about non-orgasmic sex, could be impacting my oxytocin levels?
I don't know if it's because I'm having such an "aha" response to the material, because I see that there IS a better way to be in relationship, or what, but it crossed my mind today and I thought it was an interesting idea to explore.
I have been in the health care field for thirty years, and am so excited by this material I can't tell you. This is one of those concepts that could entirely shift the relational capability of the Western world as we know it...one couple at a time.

Interesting... I've noticed that too.

One wonders if some of the brutal dictators of the world had had a better family life, if they would not have become brutal dictators.

I believe the contents of this web site are potentially world-changing. If we can just get people to read it, understand it, and practice it...

I find the same thing,too :-)

Could it be we're sensing the power of those bonding behaviors and realizing that combining them with sex isn't such a bad idea?

Dear CF,
Thank you SO much for that link. I sat here and wept as I watched it.
That's what I want to do, that's why I'm here...I'm forwarding the link to everyone I can think of.
Big hug to you,
