Activate login

Hello webAdmin.
I created a user login from my work computer and specified my work email address (paulclarke qantas .com .au). However, I never received the email to activate the account. I suspect that the work email system refused entry to it, thinking it might have been spam. The userid I used was Hermes. I wouldn't mind activating that account as I'm more likely to see any emails notifying me of responses to any topics that I've posted.

Hello Mercury,

I have manually activated the said account. You can now login using the account hermes.

A minority of people have had the same problem (you are the third so far) and I think you are right: it is most probably caused by an over-zealous spam filter.
The bad new is that email notifications will be affected by the filters too, so there is no guarantee that you will receive those either.
Depending on your work place's policies, you could take this up to the IT administrators there.

Blessings to you.
