Hello Everyone,
Been a while since I've been on here.. I've not used P for a long time now maybe like once or twice but I definately don't feel the need to use it anymore.
Anyway, I'm on here for a slightly different reason - and I might be posting on the wrong forum but I've seen Gary post about ADHD before so I've got a couple of concerns.
I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, I've always been hyperactive, talkative, restless legs etc haha.. anyway..

I've been doing fine.
Since I restarted my reboot I couldnt give more than 3.5 stars a day, (where 5 stars is the max).
I even forgot I'm rebooting. I just know I am.
This weekend I went to a big nature trip, many sea views and safaris. Just great, I walked for hours with my friends. Still I don't feel fully connected to the earth as I wish, but It's a good step further.

Comments: Note that a reduction of D2 (dopamine) receptors is thought to be associated with ADHD. Many men who give up porn see improvements in concentration and focus. Hmmmm.
If Twinkies and soda can lead to ADD/ADHD, what could watching porn do? I've never heard of Twinkies-induced ED at age 21.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: is it time to reappraise the role of sugar consumption?

Cognitive behavioral therapy scored well for adult ADHD
Adults who take medications to treat their attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder may still be easily distracted or struggle with impulsivity that disrupts their daily lives. New research suggests that a type of counseling may help people improve their persistent symptoms, even long after their sessions end.

Hello Everyone. I have been hovering on Marnia's and Gary's websites for a couple of weeks now. My gratitude is deep. I really do think these two resources could actually compel me to pull out of my disturbing sexual habits honed over many many years. It's all making sense!

I don't think this site could have come at a more apropos time. My husband was diagnosed with ADHD at age 6 and is usually on meds (except when his body "needs a break"). Typically his breaks last a couple weeks and life moves along well enough. This time he's been off for at least a month and...well...things are getting interesting.

From the amount of info I've read and what I've personally experienced, porn/sex addiction is one of the many causes of ADHD. I think it's the most single profound cause of ADD-Primarily Inattentive. After additionally reading about all the problems people here on this site have with concentration, these publications and studies I've read (which haven't proved a direct correlation, but circled about it) seem to make sense.
