A friend of the site has translated the preface, chapter one and the first of the "Wisdom" essays into French, in hopes of helping to attract a French publisher to Cupid's Poisoned Arrow. Read the excerpt.

As you know, we've created a new site to make it easier for the porn-afflicted to find helpful information to rebalance their brains. Gary has put an enormous amount of time into this effort, including creating the new slide show: http://yourbrainonporn.com/your-brain-on-porn-series
We would like for this information to be shared with as many sufferers as possible. Obviously, people don't usually say to their friends, "Hey! I've found this great site on porn recovery. Check it out!" This means helpful information is hard to spread to those who most need it.

As I said in a previous post, there are millions (literally) of people out there who would old">listen to and old">benefit from the message this web site is carrying.
The problem is that old">they have not found this site.
Not yet.
I wondered how each of you found this web site.
If you found us via a search engine, what were you looking for?
Or did you find a post or an article in another site that linked to us?
Did a friend tell you about the book/the site?

This forum is very quiet. Only one post so far (this is the second). It's a shame...
Most members of this small community have experienced the tremendous benefits of 'reservatus coitus', a.k.a. karrezza, sexual alchemy, etc...
This practice has had a huge positive impact in the life of each one of us.
The purpose of this web site is not at all commercial (it is run thanks to the generosity of Marnia Robinson and Gary Wilson who shoulder all the hosting costs and other related costs). Its aim is educative, hoping to help people understand the root of many of their problems, and provide them with an answer, a solution...

"HAVING sex without a condom is good for your mental health, according to controversial research conducted by a leading Scottish psychologist.
Professor Stuart Brody concludes that unprotected heterosexual sex can significantly boost men and women's mental wellbeing.
Conversely, Mr Brody claims that heterosexual sex with a condom is associated with poorer mental health, problems with dealing with stress and even conditions such as depression."

Risk of depression increased with the consumption of trans fats during the course of a recently published study. However individuals in the study eating a Mediterranean diet were less likely to be depressed. In the U.S., where individuals eat far more trans fats than Europeans, the connection to depression may be more firmly established. Mark Chamberlain, a counselor who works with recovering porn addicts and has just written a book called "Love You, Hate the Porn," asked if we had any couples who'd like to share their recovery stories. Here's a sample story.

This diary starts at Day 41:
NO P, M,O.
No fantasies.
No intercourse ( only once on the day 30th with wife)
No wet dreams.
And no loss of semen at all !
But wondering whether I should discuss the method I used. I have this apprehension because I feel my method does not constitute any bonding. However a deep sense of compassion is cultivated for my wife.
Here I go anyways:
Methods used to channel my mind off sex and porn:

This link: http://life-after-porn-project.blogspot.com/p/stories-of-hope.html is a beta version of a site that a sex therapist is trying to build to help recovering porn addicts become optimistic about their futures. He wants it to consist of stories about couples, where one partner was hooked and recovered.
If any of you feel like contributing something, you could send it to me and I could send it to him. All anonymous, of course.
