It's claimed in various places online that from consuming blackstrap molasses people experience a reduction in anxiety, insomnia, "foggy brain," and fatigue symptoms; help with anemia, PMS, menstrual problems, menstrual cramping, menstrual mood swings, hot flashes, cravings for sweets, and other health issues related to the menstrual cycle; reduction in the size of their fibroid tumors; graying of hair reversing color; relief from arthritis and carpel tunnel; and relief from various digestive problems like acid reflux, constipation, and diarrhea.

I can't figure out how to post a link directly to the report. The press release is at the same link. One can access the report free (I think) from http://ipcpress.com/index.php?id=42 but one has to register. You can also search this title to find articles that discuss this. They seem to have an agenda so perhaps take things with a grain of salt.

I heard something that doesn't make sense, but I figured I'd post so that if anyone hears something similar, the correct information will be here. I heard that the prolactin induced hangover is greatest when orgasm and ejaculation come together, but almost imperceptible when orgasm or ejaculation are separate. I can perhaps see how ejaculation without orgasm wouldn't do much neurochemically, but I don't see how orgasm without ejaculation is neurochemically distinct from orgasm with ejaculation.

This professor surmises that there are two breeding lineages of humans: right-brained and left-brained. And that some of their offspring don't do all that well because of genetic snafus. Wild enough for ya?

IN some cultures, romance isn’t nearly as important as cash when it comes to choosing a marriage partner. And even when money plays no explicit role in selecting a mate, courtship customs are governed by the venerable economic model of supply and demand.
Under the dowry system in India, for example, parents of older brides would typically pay more to prospective grooms. Men with better jobs would receive larger payments, too.

I pulled this from a work-related newsletter I got today. Looks really interesting, if you live in the area. (Portland, Oregon)
