What you are is not the voice in your head (your ego) but you are the being above the ego, the one watching the thoughts in your mind come to mind and pass away - the one watching and noticing the thoughts that your brain throws up constantly.

By focussing on the moment, on your breath, and not thinking you can get in touch with this inner body, this natural intelligence inside yourself. You will feel more connected with your true self and more able to cope with and control the ego, banishing its stranger suggestions into touch.

Last month, I was walking through the park and saw many families and friends enjoying the ease of a sunny afternoon. The picnic tables were scattered beneath the spreading arms of a stand of oak trees. Food was sizzling on the grills. There was laughter. Children ran rampant. I noticed one boy who was just slightly larger than the rest in his group getting a little rough with one of the other boys. Soon they were rolling on the grass in an all-out fight. An adult saw the conflict and broke them apart.

"We were just playing," the boys told her.

- I just eat when I am hungry and I am not hungry a lot
- Peacefulness, even when attacked by (long distance) sweetheart

What an Incredible Journey!

Dear Marnia, Friends, and Newcomers,

What an incredible journey I've found myself embarked upon. Not long ago, my love life was like a stormy sea and at the helm of my ship, I had no idea what to do. Then, out of the fog, this lady named Marnia Robinson dropped onto the deck with a precision guided parachute. She gave me a little lesson in how to steer out of the storm.
