Hi, my name is imnotcoming. I've been lurking here for a few months and reading my copy of Cupid's Poisoned Arrow. I have decided to start a blog at wordpress rather than here, because it's more a of a writing project for me, but I'll be participating in the forums, too.
Thanks, Marnia and Gary, for this material. This is the most important thing I've read in the past few years. I'm much more optimistic about my dating future now.

I got called out in a PM by a person who I respect. This is an edited copy of my response. You all are only seeing one side of the exchange. I'm sharing primarily because I know I often write as if I am a victimized saint and exposure is good. I am not seeking support for some poor bloke who's been dope slapped.

Well, as all us porn/masturbation/orgasm addicts know, the first day is always the easiest. Our minds are made up, we're feeling good, the Beast has been tamed, at least for this day. And that's where I find myself this morning. After binging on porn and masturbation again, I'm blogging this month to keep myself on the path and also to chart the changes that a person may experience during the period of recovery from orgasm addiction.

I worked an hour on a post. Indulged myself, and whammo! "The page has expired" and all was lost.
Guess I'll be composing in Word Perfect if it'the post is long an needs to be crafted.

In our continuing effort to make this a safe place, we have now added a members-only option for forum and blog posts. Checking the "private" box below the body section of the post-creating page will allow the finished post to be visible only to administrators or other bloggers, but not to unregistered users or those who are not logged in. Feel free to use this option at your own discretion, and reply here if you have questions or problems with it.
