28 days later... successful sex!

I've updated my blog: http://recoveryfrompandm.blogspot.com/

Thanks to Gary and Mania and other contributors to this site for helping keep me motivated. Although I know I'm not fully recovered, this is a very significant indicator that giving up PMO can and does have positive effects on your sex life.

Any questions please ask here.

Reacquainted

We have been practicing karezza for about a month.

My scorecard:
• No porn
• No solitary masturbation
• No ejaculation in three weeks
• Three “plateau” orgasms, without ejaculating
• My wife and I are reacquainted

The porn has been surprising easy to give up (well I did “peek” once in the first week when I was researching the scissors position – fortunately no ill effects.) I’ve noticed no withdrawal symptoms and I don’t feel strongly tempted. This is quite surprising to me, because I have been viewing porn regularly since the 50s.

More Progress!

My wife is back, things are settled down. She practically jumped into bed with me the first night back! Good moderate arousal on both parts. Not much sleep! It was wonderful! We later talked about how she feels about Karezza. She, although not as outwardly enthusiasitic about it as I am, is quite the willing partner! She said she likes it as much as traditional sex.

on the Birke, and (almost) hitting my goal.

The American Birkebeiner was saturday. I raced poorly, but I finished the entire 34.5 mile course. The 2009 cross country ski season is over for me... unless the snow carries into maple syruping season (next month), in which case I will be skiing to tap trees, and collect sap. it seemed to work well last year smiley

I am proud of my accomplishments for this year. I set some lofty goals for myself, and I completed them to my satisfaction.

I skied the birke. My goal was to abstain from orgasm until the race...
I made it until about 4 days before my race.
