Serotonin: sexual arousal, headaches and exercise

It just occurred to me why I get a headache whenever I stumble upon sexually arousing material. It seems that both sexual arousal and migraines are associated with low serotonin levels [1]. When you get aroused serotonin drops and headaches appear. Maybe because of the reboot process my serotonin levels are unnaturally low already and every small arousal takes them below some threshold where headaches arise. Good thing exercise, among other things, increases serotonin.

So last night I had this pretty wild party that was a lot of fun. At the same time it was a nice 'test' to see where I stand currently, with this reboot and all. Enjoy the story.

It was a reunion from a job that I did some years ago. Parties for (ex)employees from this job have always been notorious as everyone would get drunk and a lot of (unexpected) hookups would occur.. leading to great stories afterwards smiley

HuffPo, Tim Ferris, and persistent arousal

Hey there,

Marnia, I hope you get a chance to read this. . . I just had to comment on your recent article on the huffington post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/marnia-robinson/intercourse-vs-orgasm_b_31...). It was a good article, of course, but the thing that piqued my interest was that it was picked up and linked on Tim Ferris' twitter feed.

day 10, bored, dulled, but "its like that and its just the way it is."

this is day 10, well now I am really counting the days of abstincence 2 or 3 times day smiley

I am still faithful to my promise.

Instead of surfing the net and ending up at porn sites - I end up only surfing the net until I get seriously bored. last sunday i found so dull and unexciting that i caught myself taking a nap of 2 hours in the afternoon. Life is a bit more dry because the emotional excitement is not there, the excitement i usually got from jacking off.

I constantly forget why i started the abstinence in the first place. my mind says "useless, useless exercise".
