Recently, we've seen somewhat of an increase in spam advertisements on the forum. People (or bots) post a comment to an article or forum topic that usually seems at least vaguely related to the topic, but is always very short and contains a link to an external site which they are trying to advertise. We delete such posts and ban the users as soon as we can, but you may still sometimes encounter them. Although some links may be completely innocuous, obviously, the security of any site linked to in a spam message is in question.

If you're wondering what those new buttons below blog and forum posts and other stories are that say "digg" and "submit," they are simply an optional feature that lets you promote pages that you want other people to see. The first time you use the button, you will have to register a new account with digg if you don't have one already, but afterwards it should work automatically. Again, feel free to use this feature (or not) as you desire.

As a sort of preparation for the upcoming release of Cupid's Poisoned Arrow, certain parts of the site are being reorganized to make things easier to find. A side-effect is that things may briefly be *harder* to find for those of you who already know where things are. If you have a question about where something has gone, don't hesitate to post it here or PM me.
This shouldn't result in any down-time for the site, but it could cause temporary weirdness.
Thanks for your patience!
